Kidnapped Rivers state lawyer, Bisola Ajayi has narrated her ordeal in the kidnappers’ den after regaining freedom on Thursday, October 8.
Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, announced that the 25-year-old lawyer was rescued today by the help of security operatives.

Ajayi, fondly called Paulette, was abducted on Saturday night from her residence at the Rumukwurusi area of Obio-Akpor, Port Harcourt.

Mukan while briefing newsmen at the State Police Headquarters, Moscow road, Port Harcourt on Thursday, has now disclosed that the victim has been rescued by operatives of the Anti-Kidnap Unit from a deep forest in Etche Local Government Area of the State.
He said Ajayi was rescued along with another kidnap victim, whose white Venza car was used to whisk away the lawyer.
Recounting her kidnap experience while at Rivers Police command headquarters in Port Harcourt, Bisola said her ransom went up from N50m to N200m overnight.
She further revealed that the kidnappers who shot at her were surprised that she did not sustain any bullet wound, claiming she had fetish powers.
The lawyer said the kidnappers became frantic at some point and were planning to kill her the night before she was rescued after the news about her kidnap went viral, with many calling for her rescue.
