WarOnSARS: ‘I Can Lead Protest But They Will Send Me To Kirikiri Prison – Naira Marley
Naira Marley has said he is willing to lead a protest against operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) but pointed out that he may end up in prison over his action.
The controversial singer said this on Sunday a string of tweets via his Twitter handle while lending his voice to the call for the disbandment of SARS over their unlawful activities across the country.
The 26-year-old wrote;

Naira Marley speaking further recommended a physical protest, as against online protests that have been adopted by many Nigerians.
All I’m saying is we need to stop protesting on Twitter because that’s all we’ve been doing. We need to protest in real life, just say you’re scared and you will rather tweet from home.

The singer then pointed out that he is willing to lead the recommended protest but that he is sure he will end up in Kirikiri prison for it.
If you all want me to lead D protest I will lead but just know that they will send me to kirikiri prison this time.

He then queried the action of SARS official, wondering why unarmed youths are shot at when they can simply be arrested and taken to the station.

Speaking on the recommended physical protest, Naira Marley expressed that protesting is not a disturbance of peace in the society but that corruption, injustice, war and intimidation.
