40-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Defiling 13-Year-Old Girl In Kaduna
Ministry of Human Services and Social Development in Kaduna State, has announced the arrest of a 40-year old man for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl in the state.
The suspect, Musa Hassan was arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command.
The Ministry in a series of tweets on Sunday, November 15 expressed that the suspect brutally raped the victim and left her in a pool of her own blood during the attack in Unguwan Shanu area of the state.

The young girl was said to be receiving treatment at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital following the fatal incident.
The ministry assured that the victim will receive the required support to go through the disturbing experience while investigations are being conducted.

It also disclosed that the incident will be handled alongside similar cases, with support from the Ministry of Justice “to ensure the effective application of the state’s criminal justice procedure & Kaduna State Penal Code (Amendment) Law 2020”.
The ministry appreciated stakeholders in the community where the dastardly act took place for responding and also preserving evidence of the heinous act.
