Fire has gutted an outlet of Grandez Supermarket in Bodjia area of Ibadan, Oyo state on Sunday, November 8.
The supermarket is a chain store owned and operated by Mrs Florence Ajimobi, wife of late former Oyo Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who died in June as a result of coronavirus complications.

The fire incident, which started from the back office of the outlet, is gradually spreading to the main stores.
Men of the Oyo State Fire Service, who arrived at the scene promptly were battling to curtail the fire from razing the entire outlet or spread to nearby facilities.
Men of the State Joint Security Task Force Team, Operation Burst, were also seen on the ground to prevent looting of the store while the fire-fighters battle the inferno.
Mrs. Ajimobi was also seen the scene of the incident in the company of some friends and family members to monitor the situation.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained and firefighters were still battling to put out the fire.
