NCDC Announces 223 New Coronavirus Cases, 96 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 223 new coronavirus cases and 96 recoveries in the country on Friday, November 6.
The new infection cases and recoveries were announced via the health agency’s official Twitter handle.
A breakdown of the new cases is as follows; Lagos-85, FCT-35, Akwa Ibom-24, Enugu-18, Plateau-13, Rivers-10, Abia-7, Ebonyi-6, Anambra-5, Adamawa-4, Bauchi-3, Imo-3, Ogun-3, Oyo-3, Kwara-2, Osun-1 and Taraba-1.

It would be recalled that on Thursday, Nigeria recorded 63,508 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 59,748 recovered patients and 1,155 deaths.
With the new toll, there are 63,731 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 59,844 recovered patients.
Meanwhile, NCDC in collaboration with National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) has organised a webinar to discuss safe reopening of orientation camps for prospective corps members.

This comes on the back of increased cases of COVID-19 in parts of the world, serving as reminder that Nigeria is still at risk of recording more infections.
