NCDC Announces 94 New Coronavirus Cases, 159 Recoveries, 4 Casualties
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 94 new cases of coronavirus, 159 recoveries and 4 deaths on Monday, November 9.
The health agency made the announcement via its official Twitter page @NCDCgov, with the breakdown of the new cases as follows; Lagos-50, FCT-24, Kwara-9, Edo-4, Kaduna-3, Ondo-2, Plateau-2.

Nigeria, on Sunday, November 8, had 64,090 coronavirus cases, 59,910 successfully treated patients and 1,154 deaths.
With the new toll, there are now 64,184 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 60,069 patients who have recovered from the virus and 1,158 deaths.
Meanwhile, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Director-General, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has on Monday said a second wave of COVID-19 infections in the country is possible.
Ihekweazu spoke during an event organised by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Abuja, urging Nigerians to be cautious and responsible to help prevent another outbreak of the pandemic.
He said;
The increasing number of COVID-19 cases in other parts of the world is a reminder that the virus is still with us and we cannot afford to be complacent. The second wave of infection is possible in Nigeria but it is not inevitable. We can prevent it with our collective action and our collective responsibility.
