NCDC Confirms 152 New COVID-19 Cases, 295 Recoveries, No Death In Four Consecutive Days
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 152 new cases of coronavirus, 295 recoveries and no deaths on Tuesday, November 17.
No record of death from COVID-19 on Tuesday makes it four consecutive days without a record of death from the virus, according to official data.
The last time Nigeria recorded death from the virus was last Friday when one patient died, taking the tally to 1,163, as shown by data from NCDC.
The health agency made the announcement via its official Twitter page @NCDCgov, with the breakdown of the new cases.
The breakdown is as follows; Lagos-61, Oyo-39, FCT-13, Yobe-10, Bauchi-6, Kaduna-5, Kano-4, Kwara-4, Plateau-4, Edo-2, Ogun-2 and Rivers-2.

Nigeria, on Monday, recorded 65,305 coronavirus cases, 61,162 successfully treated patients and 1,163 deaths.
With the new toll, there are now 65,457 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 61,337 patients who have recovered from the virus and 1,163 deaths.
With the latest update, Nigeria’s COVID-19 total case count increased to 65,457, keeping it fifth on the list of African countries hardest hit, behind Ethiopia, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.
Currently, Nigeria has tested nearly 720,000 of its 200 million population.
