Tinubu Declares Support For Scrap Of Pension For Ex-Govs, Deputies In Lagos
Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, has declared support for the abolishing of the state’s pension for ex-Governors and their deputies.
On Tuesday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed that a bill on the abrogation of the law would be sent to the House of Assembly in a few weeks.
He made this known while presenting the 2021 N1.155trn budget to the Lagos State House of Assembly, stating that the move was in the light of keeping he costs of governance low and to signal selflessness in public service.

Tinubu has now declared support for the move on Wednesday, urging other All Progressives Congress (APC) loyalists to do the same.
He tweeted;

The APC national leader stressed;
