US Election 2020: Kanye West Concedes Defeat, Eyes 2024 US Presidential Election

Kanye West to run for PresidentKanye West has conceded defeat in the ongoing US presidential race but is still keeping his dreams alive as he sets eyes on election in 2024.

West, who on July 5 announced plans to join the presidential race, made the concession in a tweet after appearing on the ballot in 12 states.

The billionaire rapper in a tweet on November 4, said;

WELP. KANYE 2024.

West notched more than a thousand votes in all of the contests, according to preliminary tallies by The Associated Press.

He earned 6,000 votes in Colorado where US former Vice President, Joe Biden was named the victor and also notched 1,200 in Vermont, which again went to Biden.

In addition, the entrepreneur got 3,979 in Arkansas, 2,309 in Idaho, 3,179 in Iowa, 6,259 in Kentucky, 4,837 in Louisiana, 6,796 in Minnesota, 3,009 in Mississippi, 5,587 in Oklahoma, 10,188 in Tennessee and 4,053 in Utah.

The concession came few hours after the father of four announced that he voted for himself, serving as the first time he cast a ballot in a US presidential election.

He tweeted;

God is so good . . . Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.
