Zimbabwean socialite and businessman, Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure has died in the early hours of Sunday November 8, in a fatal car crash along Borrowdale Road, in Harare, the country’s capital.
The crash occurred along a curve just before Hatcliff suburb on the road to Domboshava. The 36-year-old was reportedly speeding down Borrowdale Road when he had an head-on collision with an oncoming Honda Fit car.
The impact threw him out of the vehicle after which the super vehicle burst into flames, engulfing three other passengers.
The passengers died on the spot and are yet to be identified but reports say popular Zimbabwean fitness enthusiast and socialite Mimie Moana is one of the deceased.
Ginimbi died hours after sharing a video of him heading out for celebration of Moana’s birthday at Dreams Nightclub in his Rolls Royce on Instagram.
The deceased is the owner of Pioneer Gas and PIKO Group. He owned a mansion in the peri-urban settlement and a fleet of expensive cars including Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini.
In the Instagram video, he said;
Yo my name is Ginimbi, it’s time to go out. It’s gonna be going down, we are going to dreams in the next few minutes. It’s gonna be going down. We are going to pop champagne, it’s gonna be champagne showers…tonight, see you there. Driving Rolls Royce wraith.

Ginimbi’s PR manager, Ms. Shally who confirmed the incident, said;
I feel like hell, I dont even know which words to even use, Genius Kadungure has been called by God, he is no more. He was in a terrible accident around 5am, he died on the spot with 3 of his friends in the car, Karim, Elisha and Moana.
