Lagos Govt Seals Cubana Nightclub And The Corner For Breaching COVID-19 ProtocolsLagos State Safety Commission on Saturday night December 19, sealed off Cubana nightclub in Ikeja, The Corner in Lekki and other facilities for non-compliance of the State’s COVID-19 protocols.

It would be recalled that Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in preparation for second wave of COVID-19 infection placed a ban on concerts, street parties, and nightclubs.

The directive was given as Nigeria is currently experiencing a second wave of the pandemic causing a drastic increase in numbers of confirmed cases.

In enforcing the directive, a team from the Lagos State Safety Commission led by the Lagos state commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, stormed the Ikeja GRA facility of Cubana grills and shut down the facility for hosting its customers despite the ban on night clubs.

Another team from LSSC also sealed The Corner bar and nightclub in Lekki for violating the ban on parties within the metropolis.
