NCDC Announces 122 New COVID-19 Cases, 409 Recoveries, One Casualty
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 122 new cases of the coronavirus infection, 409 recoveries and one death in the country.
The announcement was made via the agency’s official twitter handle on Sunday night, November 2.

On Saturday night, Nigeria recorded 67,838 coronavirus cases, 63,430 discharged and 1,176 deaths.
With the newly recorded infections, there are now 67,960 total cases, 63,839 discharged and 1,177 fatalities across the country.
Also, overall samples tested nationwide, have grown to 776,768 according to NCDC’s November 28 weekly situation report.
Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for establishing in Nasarawa State one of the biggest disease control centres in Africa.
He gave the commendation yesterday while commissioning the Nasarawa State Infectious Disease and Research Centre (NASIDARC) in Lafia.
Osinbajo said;
The completion of this disease control centre is a remarkable achievement despite the meagre resources available to the state.
He noted that with the quality of the centre, Nigeria was ready to battle any infectious disease.
Responding, Sule thanked the nation’s second citizen for gracing the occasion.
