Award-Winning DJ Babus Reportedly Dies From Coronavirus Complications
Award-winning Disc Jockey, Babatunde Bashir-Bello better known as DJ Babus has reportedly passed away due to coronavirus complications.
The death of the International DJ, producer and writer has left many in the music industry and music enthusiasts in in shock.
Confirming his death, On-Air-Personality Raezy Winston, revealed that DJ Babus was infected with the virus and was in a terrible state until his death.
He wrote;
Lord!! 3 weeks ago I learnt privately that Dj Babus was hit with Covid and was in a terrible state. From not being properly attended to, to panting and struggling to breathe even while on oxygen (even if he was paying ridiculous!). It hurts to know he ain’t make it. RIP Babus.

DJ Babus learned to DJ studying various local and international DJs and by watching hours of tutorial videos online.
Years later, he started DJing professionally when he joined his college radio station in Maryland, USA.
DJ Babus developed his skills working with various artists. After university, he moved to Ohio for a music engineering/production programme and later moved back to Nigeria.
On return to Nigeria, he first began working with a top label as an engineer, then joined KnightHouse Creative as a talent manager.
He worked as resident DJ at popular hotspots including W-Bar, and RSVP in Lagos state.
Many colleagues in the music industry have taken to social media to mourn him, praying for his soul to rest in peace.
