Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has on Friday January 8, presented a N5 million cheque each to Lagos State University (LASU) best graduating student and best Master’s degree student.
It would be recalled that Governor Sanwo-Olu made the promise during LASU 24th Convocation ceremony which held on December 16.
Oladimeji Shotunde is the recipient of N5m donation and scholarship after he emerged the overall best graduating student.
The 22-year-old graduated from the Department of Business Administration in the Faculty of Management Science, with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.95 from a total CGPA of 5.00 scale academic performance.
Also, Sola Olabanjo, a Master’s degree graduate from the department of Computer Science, who scored a CGPA of 5.0, was promised N5 million grant from the office of the Lagos governor.
Governor Sanwo-Olu has now presented a cheque of N5 million each to both students today.
