Many persons are feared dead after a gas plant located near Untouchable bus stop along Lagos-Asaba expressway in Agbor community, Delta state exploded on Friday evening, January 22.
The gas plant went up in flames on Friday night, razing down some buildings, killing an unconfirmed number of persons and injuring many others
The cause of the fire was still unknown as of the time of this report but firefighters have arrived at the scene of the incident to put out the fire.
A video shared online showed some of the burnt victims being rushed to the hospital where they are being treated.
The Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa is expected to visit the site of the incident this morning.
