2-1: FC Porto Shock Italian Champions Juventus In Champions League Last-16 TieFc Porto have defeated Italian Champions, Juventus 2-1 in Champions league knockout match by scoring in the first minute of both halves in Tuesday night tie in Turin, Italy.

The Portuguese side opened scoring in the opening seconds when Mehdi Taremi pounced on Juventus’ Rodrigo Bentancur’s poor back pass to slid in and convert after only 63 seconds.

Taremi scored the quickest goal in a Champions league knockout stage since David Alaba for Bayern vs Juventus in April 2013 (24 seconds). He also became the fifth Iranian to score in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Porto’s striker Moussa Marega doubled his side’s advantage 19 seconds into the second half by slipping home Wilson Manafa pass into Wojciech Szczesny’s near post.

Juventus also had their chance; French midfielder Andrien Rabiot saw an acrobatic effort pushed away Porto’s goalkeeper Marchesin.

The Portuguese Champion’s lead was halved in the 82nd minute when Federico Chiesa broke from the midfield and side-footed in a neat finish to give Juventus an important away goal.

Juventus talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo was silent all through the game and couldn’t help his team out of their misery.

The defeat means Juventus have now lost three of their past four Champions League knockout matches. They will go into the second leg tie with an important away goal.
