Defamation/Libel: DJ Cuppy To Sue Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel Over Allegation Of Owing Zlatan
Singer, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, on Monday said she will be suing Davido’s aide, Afeare Isreal over his allegation that she did not pay Zlatan Ibile for his collaboration in their 2019 hit song, Gelato.
Isreal last week claimed via his Instagram account claiming that Zlatan blocked DJ Cuppy on Instagram and WhatsApp because she is a ‘full fake friend”.

He alleged that after the music collaboration between Cuppy and Zlatan, the DJ failed to pay Zlatan for his role.
Israel also revealed that Cuppy took the singer to Abuja for her fund raising event where she made a lot of money but refused to give Zlatan money.
Isreal also alleged that the accommodations and feeding expenses during Zlatan’s stay in Abuja was also paid by the singer including the expenses of his team.
He wrote;
Kudos to someone like Zlatan, who took a bold step by flushing a full fake friend like Cuppy who was just using his head all in the name of my papa na Otedola. Zlatan did a hit collabo with her, ordinary one kobo, he no see. She also took Zlatan to Abuja for her fundraising where she made billions of naira and didn’t even remember Zee for one kobo until tomorrow. No accommodation, no feeding. Zlatan had to even spend his own personal money at Transcorp Hilton to carter for everyone including me. Dis na 2021 abeg.
He has since yanked the post from his Instagram page.
Reacting to this, DJ Cuppy stated affirmatively that all agreements of the contract on the song were met while adding that Isreal DMW will face the court for defamation and libel.

The musician refused to give further details, saying it is now a legal case.
