Europa League Last-16 Draw: Arsenal, Tottenham And Man United Learn Their Fate (Full List)
UEFA Europa League last-16 draw for 2020/21 has been revealed on Friday, with clubs discovering who they will face in the next round of the competition.
Manchester United will take on AC Milan in the last-16 of the League, Arsenal have been paired with Olympiacos, while Tottenham will take on Dinamo Zagreb.
With the draw completely unseeded (i.e anyone could be paired with anyone), Arsenal have been handed the task of getting past Olympiacos for the second season in a row. They were knocked out of last season’s competition by the Greek.
Arsenal will be away from home in the first-leg whilst Spurs will be at home, despite having been drawn on the away side. This is because UEFA rules will not permit a day switch. Thus, Spurs will face Zagreb at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on March 11 whilst Olympiakos will travel to Emirates Stadium on March 18.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been handed the toughest opponent in the grouping, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will face Italian Giants AC Milan in the round of 16 tie. The Red Devils (Manchester United) will be at home in the first-leg before travelling to San Siro a week later.
Also, Scottish League’s current leaders Rangers, who beat Royal Antwerp 9-5 on aggregate in the last-32, will face Slavia Prague, who got the better of Premier League club Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last night. Rangers will be hoping to continue their fiery form which has seen them go unbeaten in the scottish league.
