Floyd Mayweather Offered Blockbuster Rematch With Manny Pacquiao
Floyd Mayweather has been offered another chance to accept a rematch of his 2015 bout with Manny Pacquaio, with a warning that he may be sent into “double retirement”.
The 43-year-old, who announced his third retirement from boxing in August 2017, came out victorious by unanimous decision years back when he came up against Manny Pacquaio.
The match was billed as the fight of the century when they came up against each other in a professional boxing bout on May 2, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao has been hellbent on exacting revenge on Floyd ever since that night in the most lucrative pay-per-view of all time.
The 41-year-old boxing legend now wants a second crack at Mayweather before finally retiring to run for president of Philippines.
Mayweather’s 50-0 undefeated run still stands after his victory over UFC show man Conor McGregor in 2017, but Manny Pacquaio is determined to put an end to Floyd’s flawless run.
The 2015 bout was considered to be one of the most anticipated sporting events in history, it was largely considered a let down by critics and audiences alike upon its broadcast.
On nis part, Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Sean Gibbons in a Twitter outburst on Monday aimed at the undefeated superstar Mayweather said;
Floyd you can come get some!!! Senator Pacquiao will send you into double retirement.

Mayweather is scheduled for an exhibition bout against YouTube sensation Logan Paul, but the fight may be set for a delay as Mayweather’s camp express concerns about the limited number of pay-per-view pre purchase and the lack of fans in attendance due to Covid-19 restriction.
There could be no bigger fight than a rematch between Pac-man and Money, so it’s a little wonder boxing fans are beginning to get excited. There’s rarely a smoke without fire in the big-money world of elite boxing, so keep your eyes on this one.
