‘He’s So Insensitive’ – Nigerians Slam Apostle Suleman For Boasting About Buying 3rd Jet During COVID-19 And Praying For Pandemic Not To End
Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, has come under heavy censure over his recent comments about COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
MDB earlier reported that the clergyman during a recent sermon, which date could not be ascertained, boasted about buying 3rd jet in the height of COVID-19 first wave in Nigeria.
Also during the sermon, he expressed that he prayed for the pandemic not to end because he was more prosperous in that period and he was able to rest.
In his words;
In COVID [pandemic] I bought a jet; the third one. I have three. I was praying for COVID-19 not to end because I was resting. While people were complaining, my wife asked, ‘Can life be this sweet?’ Am I talking to somebody here?
No stress. I read on the Internet that there’s a rumour going around that I have a machine that prints money. I like that rumour. They say, ‘he should be investigated. He has a machine that prints money.
His comments has however sparked reactions from many Nigerians as they criticised him for being insensitive to the plight of others who have either lost family members or friends to the pandemic or have been struggling financially.
See some reactions from Twitter users below;
I’m not worried about the deceitful ones like Apostle Suleman and Co who twist the word of God selfishly, but I’m worried about their gullible followers, who have been blinded by frivolities.

I pray God helps Apostle Suleman.
Everything is wrong in the fact that those words came out.
The gospel of the kingdom is not about money money money alone.
And when you speak in tongues, you are not printing any money.
Haba!

I always try not to be ill-mannered towards ‘men of God’ but this Apostle Suleman guy is overdoing things.
That video is way too insensitive, and I can only liken it to that of a drunkard showboating in a beer parlor.

Apostle suleman is just another one of those so called men of God. I’ve said this before, if only Christians believed in God the same way they believe in their pastors, we’ll not be here. You’ll hear sum’n like, ‘God of my pastor’, ode, do you know which God they serve? pic.twitter.com/4NEOSho3WZ

How much did Apostle Suleman make last year compared to @elonmusk & @JeffBezos who have not boasted about their wealth?
I hope his church members are already printing money and ordering for their jets too 😞
How did we sink this low? 🙁

My only issue with Apostle Suleman isn’t even about his private jets or that his laughable teleportation story, but the fact that he wished for Covid-19 not to end, a disease that as taken over 2 million lives.
