Paris Hilton has announced her engagement to her boyfriend of one year, Carter Reum on Wednesday, her 40th birthday.
According to People, Hilton, who turned 40 today, said yes to the proposal on February 13.
The hotel heiress turned reality star shared intimate images from the romantic proposal on her website ParisHilton.com.
The pair both wear white ensembles, as Carter, also 40, got down on one knee after whisking her off to a private island.
Paris raised her left hand to show off her emerald cut engagement ring by Jean Dousset, the great-grandson of Louis Cartier.
This is the fourth time that the star has been engaged, having previously been proposed to by model Jason Shaw in 2002, Greek socialite Paris Latsis in 2005, and actor Chris Zylka in 2018.
Sharing beachside pictures of the proposal on Instagram, Hilton said;
For my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.

Reum, who attended Columbia University, became an entrepreneur when he co-founded a liquor brand, VEEV Spirits with brother Courtney, which they sold in 2016.
The businessman also runs M13, an investment company, and has backed startups including Daily Harvest, Lyft, and the shoe brand Rothy’s.
He released the book Shortcut Your Startup: Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success, with his brother in 2018.
Paris started dating Carter in late 2019 after being friends for 15 years.
The engagement comes days before the launch of Hilton’s podcast, This Is Paris, where she will talk more about her engagement on the premiere episode.
Hilton speaking about the proposal on her website said;
A peaceful pre-dinner walk on the beach turned into much more when Carter dropped to one knee.
It was the kind of proposal I had always dreamed of, followed by a special celebration with family and close friends.
She added;
With Carter by my side, I know that anything is possible. He accepts me for who I am and encourages me to show my true self. I’m eternally grateful to have him in my life.
Hilton is a great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton – the founder of Hilton Hotels.
She featured in the reality TV series The Simple Life between 2003 and 2007 – and has cultivated a career as a businesswoman, a model, a singer and an actress.
