Super Bowl 2021: American Footballer, Tom Brady Wins 7th Title As Tampa Bay Buccaneers Beat Kansas City ChiefsTop American footballer, Tom Brady has helped his club, Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 on Sunday night, February 7, to extend his record for Super Bowl wins to seven.

In his first season with Tampa Bay after a 20-year spell with the New England Patriots, the quarterback helped the club become the first team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium.

Brady, facing a team seen as favorites, threw three touchdown passes to prevent the Chiefs from becoming the first back-to-back NFL champions since Brady and the Patriots in the 2004 season.

Aged 43 years, Brady became the oldest player to play in the biggest game in US sport, extending his record for Super Bowl appearances to 10.

He is now the second quarterback after Peyton Manning to win Super Bowls with two different teams.

Together with his former Patriots team-mates Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown, as well as Leonard Fournette who were signed by Tampa, the club exceeded expectations by leading 21-6 at half-time at the Super Bowl.

Then Tampa Bay ended the game 31-9, much to the suprise of pundits and punters. At 68 years and 127 days, Bruce Arians became the oldest coach to win the Super Bowl.

Brady now has more Super Bowl wins than any single NFL franchise and was named the big game’s Most Valuable Player for a record-extending fifth time.

He stated;

I’m so proud of all of these guys. We had a rough November but Bruce Arians (head coach) had all the of confidence in us and we came together at the right time. I’m not making any comparisons. Coming down here and playing with this group of guys is amazing.

Super Bowl had a crowd of 25,000 at the Raymond James Stadium, which included 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers.
