Tottenham Hotspur has lost to West Ham in a local derby in English Premier League (EPL) in London stadium.

Jose Mourinho, Tottenham boss, lost his 50th EPL game in the charge at the London side, today’s defeat was his 15th defeat since he took over from Mauricio Pochettino.

It was at London stadium Mourinho got his Spurs (Tottenham) managerial career up and running in 2019 with a convincing performance in a 3-2 win that suggested promising times ahead. He has now lost five of his last six EPL matches.

The Hammers (West Ham) were ahead inside five minutes thanks to striker, Michail Antonio. It was his fifth goal against Spurs. It was one of those Tottenham’s performances devoid of dynamism and creativity, the hosts lead into the halftime.

Meanwhile, Manchester United loanee, Jesse Lingard continued his fine form as he doubled the Hammer’s lead five minutes into the second half.

It was the first time Jose Mourinho had conceded in the opening five minutes of both halves in an EPL game. Spurs’ forward, Lucas Moura headed in from the corner to put spurs back into the game.

Spurs’ substitute Gareth Bale saw his stunning volley cannon off the bar and Heung-Min Son’s late effort deflect off the post. All the visitor’s efforts to get an equalising goal were futile as the match ended 2-1 in favour of West Ham.

Meanwhile, West Ham boss, David Moyes secured his first victory over Jose Mourinho in EPL at the 16th attempt. The victory sees Hammers move to fourth position, nine points ahead of local rival Tottenham.

Sadly, West Ham United’s Tomas Soucek was covered in blood after gruesome head clash with Tottenham’s defender Davidson Sanchez in the 16th minute.
