Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III has reportedly married a new wife identified as Olori Chioma, following reports of marital crisis that rocked his palace last year.
Olori Chioma Adeyemi is the monarch’s thirteenth wife and she is perhaps the first eastern Olori of the monarch.
The Alaafin of Oyo, stepped out with his young queen, making their first public appearance together at the installation of real estate mogul, Tomori Williams, as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland.
According to a Twitter account, @OyoNews1, the young woman is perhaps the first Eastern wife of the monarch.

The monarch stepped out with the new wife in his historical Palace in Oyo town, during the installation of Real Estate Giant, Chief Tomori Williams as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland.

The Twitter user stated that rumours suggest the new queen was married into the royal family in 2020.

The reported marriage comes few months after Queen Aanuoluwapo Adeyemi, one of the wives of the Alaafin, said she has parted ways with her husband, alleging an attempted kidnap and threat to her life.

The queen, who has a set of twins for the Alaafin, also called on Nigerians to note that were anything to happen to her, the monarch should be held responsible.
Queen Anu, who is one of the youngest wives of the monarch, said this in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, November 11.
In the statement, she stated that she had to go into hiding following her decision, calling on the public to “hold her husband responsible” if any harm befalls her due to her move.
