OAP, Nedu Cries Out Over N1.4m Electricity Bill
On-Air-Personality and actor, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel better known as Nedu has cried out after being served an estimated electricity bill of N1.4m.
The media personality took to his Instagram page on Thursday to call out Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) over the bill.
Wondering how he used electricity tariff worth over a million naira, Nedu stated that he does not have a factory in his house for him to be served such a bill.

Many Nigerians have been complaining about the high rate of electricity tariff after Federal Government in January 2021 increased electricity tariff payable by power consumers across the country.
Approval for the hike in tariff was given by Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), as the increase which varies, based on different consumer classes.
NERC announced the tariff hike in its December 2020 minor review of Multi Year Tariff Order (MYTO) and Minimum Remittance Order (MRO).
