Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has on Monday announced the arrival of 255 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia.
NIDCOM made the disclosure via on Twitter, sharing pictures of the returnees, adding that they arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja via Saudi Air Flight SV3405 at about 1:00 pm today.

This, according to the agency, is the first batch of returnees while the arrival of other returnees is expected in subsequent days.
The returnees will proceed on quarantine at Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with COVID-19 protocols by Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.

Earlier in January this year, NIDCOM stated that 424 citizens stranded in Saudi Arabia arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The day before that, 384 returnees arrived at the same airport and were quarantined at Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days as well.
