Two years after being a relationship, American rapper, Saweetie has announced that she and Migos rapper, Quavo have broken up.
The duo first got together in 2018 after Quavo slid into Saweetie‘s Direct Message on Instagram, and they had spoken glowingly about each other as recently as January of this year.
Announcing their spilt on Twitter on Friday while hinting that Quavo cheated on her with another woman, Saweetie wrote;
I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.

It’s not entirely clear what narrative Saweetie is referring to, but she does drop some more hints, saying; “Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
She added;
I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation 🙏🏽

Rumors that the two had split first started to circulate earlier this week after fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

What’s more, Saweetie was recently on the “Respectfully Justin” podcast repeatedly saying she doesn’t like liars in relationships but she didn’t specify if that meant Quavo.
As at the time of filing this report, Quavo was yet to react to the reported breakup.
