Residence of the mother of popular Yoruba youth leader, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho was allegedly attacked by suspected “Fulani men” on Sunday, March 21, it has emerged.
Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki disclosed this on Sunday night via his Twitter handle, saying;
Chief Sunday Adeyemo’s mother’s house at Igboho was invaded by three Fulani men this evening around 7:54pm.

Corroborating the claim, former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode disclosed that one of the suspects was apprehended.
FFK stated that “3 foreign Fulani terrorists” were caught in his mother’s home in Igboho, Oyo state, adding that one was handed over to the police while two escaped.
He alleged that the mission of the men was to harm Igboho’s mother.
I just spoke to Sunday Igboho & he told me that 2 foreign Fulani terrorists were apprehended in his mother’s home in Igboho, Oyo state this evening.Their mission was to harm Mama. One of them escaped whilst the other is with the police.Those that sent them are playing with fire!

Recounting attacks that were directed towards Sunday Igboho, the former minister stressed;
First of all they burnt down Sunday’s house in Ibadan. Secondly a soldier and a fake soldier were caught spying on his Ibadan home. Thirdly two terrorists are caught sneaking into his mothers home with a clear intention to harm her.
This is a man whose input brought peace to our nation just two weeks ago and helped to bring to an end the Northern embargo of food to the South after he guaranteed the peace and security of innocent Nigerian Fulanis in the SW.
I am appealing to those who are behind these provocations against his person reckless attacks to desist from this nonsense.

FFK opined that Sunday Igboho is a heroic figure in the South West and by far the most powerful, vocal and popular figure in Yorubaland as of today.
He added that harming him or his family members will not work out well for the peace and stability of our nation.

FFK then clarified that ‘three terrorists’ were caught in Sunday Igboho’s mother’s house and not two, adding that one was caught and two escaped.
