WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Down For Thousands Of Users Worldwide
If you have been trying to access your WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook account, then you’re not alone – the social media applications are down for several users worldwide.
Many users took to Twitter to share their complains, asking what had happened to the social media services, that have millions of users worldwide.
Downdetector, that provides realtime overview of issues and outages with all kinds of social media platforms said in a tweet that Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram were facing technical issues.

As at time of filing this report, over 11,000 people registered issues with WhatsApp service on Downdetector while almost 12,000 people registered problems with Instagram.
It is not clear whether the outage was only in Nigeria or globally. However, there were over 1.2m tweets about users not being able to connect to WhatsApp (web and the app), Instagram and Facebook Messenger.
Late February, people across the UK were experiencing similar issues as the were unable to connect to the social media platforms owned by Facebook.
As at the time of filing this report, the social media apps were yet to address the problem.
