During the event, Eke said her journey to fame didn’t happen overnight but as a product of hard work and consistency.
She expressed;
Sometimes it gets me very emotional to see how far I have come from where I started. From selling corn to fuel to a lot of things I did before this Mercy.
I am proud of myself, and a lot of people are proud of me and looking up to me. Where I am today is through my hard work. I haven’t done anything yet, I still have so many big dreams to achieve.

Eke stressed;
Being famous and having fans is a way two way thing. You have to know how to balance them. I am not famous because I want to be famous, I am famous because I want to work on myself. Because I want to be somebody, and that is why I auditioned for big brother four times.
Having fans is a give and take situation, you have to have something to give for you to receive. A lot of people want to be famous without having directions.
Mercy emerged winner of the fourth edition of the BBNaija. She has since then continued to blaze the trail in the country’s entertainment industry.
