Mayweather To Fight American Youtuber, Logan Paul On June 6Floyd Mayweather, undefeated former world champion, is billed to take on Logan Paul, an American Youtuber turned amateur boxer, in an exhibition match on June 6.

The match, which was postponed from its initial date in February, is set to take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and it will be shown on pay-per-view.

Mayweather Promotions, a promotional firm owned by the fighter, broke the news via its Twitter page on Tuesday, saying;

The historic crossover event is signed & sealed! Mayweather vs. Paul live at Hard Rock. Sunday, June 6th. #MayweatherPaul #BraggingRights

The five-weight division world champion, who has a 50-0 record, last fought professionally in August 2017, when he knocked out Conor McGregor, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star, in the 10th round.

He also scored a first-round knockout over Japanese kickboxer and mixed martial artist, Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match in December 2018.

Conversely, Paul, who has nearly 23m subscribers on YouTube, has only one fight under his belt, a split-decision loss to Olajide Olayinka Williams, aka KSI and a fellow YouTuber, in November 2019.

Logan Paul’s younger brother, Jake Paul has enjoyed more success, enjoying three wins from three bouts – with the latest coming when he knocked out former UFC star, Ben Askren inside the first round earlier this month.

According to Fanmio, a platform that connects fans with celebrities through online experiences, additional details on the rules of the fight and the undercard will be released soon.
