Police authorities in Libya have arrested two Nigerian nationals with drug and sex trafficking in Western region of the country.
The suspects were arrested during a joint operation conducted by security forces and officials of Libyan Anti Narcotics Agency in Zintan and Jadu cities on Friday, April 2.
The suspects have been handed over to relevant agencies for further investigation and prosecution.

A statement from police authorities in Libya reads;
By the grace of Allah swt and members of the Directorate Support Force Committee (200) and in cooperation with the Directorate of Security of Jada and Anti-Narcotics Office, we get information from one source about a formation of incoming employment (Nigeria) they are bringing Promoting drugs of the type of Marqwana, weed, liquor, and prostitution in the western region (Zintan and Jado), and all of them are arrested, charged with the crime witnessed and handed them to the specialties.
