Donald Trump Launches New Communication Platform Which Allows Followers Share His Posts To Twitter, FacebookFormer United States President, Donald Trump has launched his own personal media website, following months of being suspended from several social media platforms.

The platform, launched on Tuesday, will serve as “a place to speak freely and safely,” and will eventually give him the ability to communicate directly with his followers.

Titled ‘From The Desk of Donald J Trump’, the platform appears on the website: www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.

It features short essay-like posts and videos, as well as links by which website users can share their posts to social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

While there are no features on the space to enable website users to reply or engage with the president on his posts, they can make donations and also make use of a shopping feature to purchase Make American Great Again (MAGA) merchandise.

The webpage is referred to as a ‘beacon of freedom‘ in a time of ‘lies and silence‘ in a promotional video, which shows imagery of Mar-a-Lago, where the former president has been living since leaving the White House.

Not backing down on his stance on the 2020 USA Presidential Elections, the twice impeached president wrote on the website, “The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!

He has also taken shots at Twitter for permanently suspending him from the microblogging platform after a train of tweets, which were held responsible for January 7 Capitol riot.

Speaking with Fox, President Trump’s senior adviser, Jason Miller pointed out that the platform was not a social media platform.

Trump’s senior adviser, Jason Miller, said in a tweet that:

President Trump’s website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform. We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future.

The move comes a day before Facebook’s Oversight Board is expected to announce its decision on whether to indefinitely suspend the former President from Facebook and Instagram.
