Kaduna Plane Crash: COAS Ibrahim Attahiru’s Wife Is Alive – El-Rufai’s Aide Debunks Death Rumour
Mohammed Dattijo, Chief of Staff to Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has clarified that Fati, wife of late Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru, is alive.
He said this in a short message on his official social media handle while debunking a now-deleted tweet from a media outlet, saying Attahiru’s wife was also involved in plane crash that killed her husband.

“It is incorrect; the wife is alive. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he tweeted.

It would be recalled that a Nigerian Air Force aircraft conveying some top military officers crashed near Kaduna.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, died in the crash on Friday with reports that no other person on board survived.
A tweet by the Nigerian Air Force confirmed the passing away of its Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru.
Mohammed Yerima, Brigadier General of Director Army Public Relations, made this known in a statement, adding that the air crash in Kaduna also claimed the lives of 10 other officers including the crew.
