Rapper T.I And Wife, Tiny Harris Under Investigation For Alleged Sexual Assault In Los AngelesAmerican rapper, T.I., born Clifford Harris and his wife TamekaTinyHarris are under police investigation in Los Angeles, following claims they drugged and sexually assaulted women there, authorities said on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed that the department received a report last month and initiated an investigation.

It is one of at least two police reports made in recent months that allege the couple sexually assaulted women after they were drugged.

It would be recalled that in January, an Atlanta-based entrepreneur, Sabrina Peterson alleged thatT.I threatened her with a gun.

Following this, Peterson, who happens to be a former friend of the rapper’s family, among other things, accused the couple of sexual abuse, kidnapping and forcing women to take drugs before entering their home.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Petersons shared compiled messages she claimed to have received from the over 15 victims alleged to have been abused by the couple.

Three men also alleged that the couple made ‘terrorist threats‘ against them.

Then in March, attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn said he had been contacted by more than 30women, survivors and witnesses” who accused the couple of “forced drugging, kidnapping, rape and intimidation.”

Blackburn sent letters to police agencies in California and Georgia calling for an investigation into the couple, describing their allegations as an “eerily” similar pattern of “events of sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.”

A woman also spoke to an LAPD detective on April 8 and alleged she had received a drink at a bar from Tiny and later was sexually assaulted by T.I. before vomiting and blacking out.

Steve Sadow, the attorney for the couple, said the Harrises have not been questioned or contacted by any law enforcement agency.

He added that because the woman making the accusations has not been identified, it is “preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations — or even examine them.”

Earlier this month, a woman also filed a report with Las Vegas Metro Police alleging she had her drink spiked before engaging in nonconsensual sex with the couple in August 2010.

Public allegations against the couple first appeared in January, leading to the suspension of filming of T.I. and Tiny’s VH1 reality show, “The Family Hustle.”

The Harrises have vehemently denied any wrongdoing since the accusations first surfaced.

In addition, a 41-year-old Las Vegas-based woman named Rachelle Jenks filed a police report with Las Vegas Police Department earlier this month alleging she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the couple after meeting Tiny at an airport bathroom in 2010.

The couple’s attorney, Steve Sadow, told E! News in a statement;

The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country. Even assuming the story in the Daily Beast is close to accurate, it appears the LAPD ‘accuser’ has chosen once again to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations or even examine them.

The statement continued;

Meanwhile, although we now appear for the first time to have the name of an ‘accuser’ who supposedly filed a police report with LVPD, we have absolutely zero details about her or her claim.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn, who is representing the alleged victims, told E! News in a statement, “We have several women who are willing to speak on the record. Investigations are pending.

In February, an MTV Entertainment spokesperson told NBC News that production on the couple’s unscripted series T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle had been suspended in light of the allegations, saying;

Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.
