Breaking: Davido Loses Close Associate, Obama DMW, Seven Months After Bodyguard’s Death (Video)
Habeeb Uthman also known as Obama DMW, a close associate of singer Davido, has reportedly passed away on Tuesday, June 29 of suspected heart failure.
According to PulseNG, Obama on Tuesday, June 29 drove himself to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki to complain of breathing difficulties. Unfortunately, he died a few hours later.
Aside from always hanging out with Davido, Obama was also a music executive cum artistes manager and founded his music label Obama Music Worldwide (OMW).
According to a slew of post on Instagram Stories, he hung out with Davido in the studio 21 hours before his death.
Obama DMW himself lost his dad in March as he shared a video of himself in tears on his Instagram page with the caption; “I’ll miss you forever daddy”.

Soso Soberekon, popular artist manager and producer, confirmed the incident by sharing a photo of himself and Obama DMW, calling one the ‘realist’ one.

Peruzzi, a singer and close friend to Davido, also confirmed the incident by sharing emojis of a broken heart on his Instagram story.
Finding hard to believe the news, Peruzzi wrote;
The death of Obama DMW comes seven months after the singer lost his personal bodyguard of 11 years, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan simply called TeeJay, an incident that left Davido heartbroken.
The 36-year-old died in the early hours of Tuesday, December 8, after battling an undisclosed illness.
