Singer, Cardi B announced she’s expecting her second child during a live performance alongside husband, Offset at 2021 BET Awards on Sunday night.
The rapper made the announcement as she joined Offset and his rap group Migos on stage for the track ‘Type S**t’ after the trio finished singing “Straightenin,”
Walking out on the stage for the song Cardi sported a rhinestone-studded bodysuit with a sheer panel on the front that revealed her growing baby bump.

The couple are already parents to daughter Kulture Kiari, who turns 3 in July. Offset, 29, is also dad to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships.

“Cardi B and Offset, giving us life – literally,” host Taraji P. Henson after their performance joked when the show returned from commercial following news break.
The rapper went on to officially make an announcement via her Instagram page saying;
“#2!”
Cardi B, 28, captioned the Instagram photo announcing the happy news that went live simultaneously with the performance.
In the striking image a heavily pregnant Cardi poses completely naked with her torso covered in white paint, her hands gently resting on her bump.

Cardi B and Offset have had a turbulent relationship since secretly tying the knot in 2017 and came close to getting divorced last year, with the mum-to-be telling fans she was ‘single’ in October.
However they later reconciled and while the musician apologised to fans, she was wasn’t going to let criticism stop her while clarifying that the divorce wasn’t set in motion because he was unfaithful but due to endless arguments.
The couple reconciled by November and enjoyed a romantic vacation for Valentine’s Day.

Cardi announced her previous pregnancy during a live television appearance as well, revealing the news while performing on Saturday Night Live in August 2018.
Migos was nominated for best group at the BETs, while Cardi B won video of the year for “W.A.P.” and was up for three more awards at Sunday’s show.
