BBNaija Season 6: Ebuka Announces New Twist As 11 Female Housemates Enters BBN HouseOn the second day of Big Brother Naija season 6 opening ceremony, eleven (11) female housemates were unveiled to join the 11 male contestants earlier revealed.

It would be recalled that Saturday, July 24, the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcomed the 11 male housemates and ushered them into the beautifully redesigned BBNaija house.

BBNaija season 6, Africa’s biggest show, premiered on DStv channel 198, GOtv channel 29 and it will simulcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban and Africa Magic Family.

Over the years, winners of the reality show have carted away millions of Naira since the inaugural edition in 2006.

In the second season, the grand prize was N25 million and it was later increased to N45 million in the third edition.

The fourth season saw the winner, Mercy Eke, take home the N60 million among other perks, while in 2020,fan favourite, Laycon, who won season five, became N85 million richer.

This season tagged ‘Shine Ya Eye’, one lucky housemate would become N90 million richer when the show ends in 72 days time (October 3, 2021).

Meanwhile, the housemates are lodged at the beautifully redesigned Big Brother House for the next ten weeks to entertain TV viewers across Africa and beyond.

Emphasising on MultiChoice’s previous announcement, Ebuka stated that there will be no SMS voting as fans will now be able to vote for their favourite housemates for free on the official website and application, saying this is to allow a more inclusive participation for fans outside Nigeria.

Showmax will offer exclusive access to the show for viewers in diaspora. In line with COVID-19 safety measures, the live shows will adopt the Lockdown season style with no guests.

Announcing a new twist to the show during the unveiling ceremony, Ebuka revealed that there are two housemates who are wildcards.

He expressed that the 22 housemates are expected to figure out who the two housemates are, adding that if successful, the wild cards will be evicted next Sunday during a live eviction show.

However,  if unsuccessful, the wildcards will remain in the house to participate in the competition.

Ebuka, however, stated that the two wildcards will be revealed to viewers of the show during a diary session.

Here are the 11 female housemates who will be keeping you all glued to your TV screens and phones in the next 72 days;

 

Angel Agnes Smith

Adorned with 11 tattoos, Angel is a writer and poet. She likes writing, watching movies and most importantly, sleeping.

The 21-year-old lady describes herself as a fun, easy, likeable person who enjoys storytelling. If she is not in the club dancing, you will find her on the beach writing poetry.

Angel is a proud feminist, and her friends describe her as a drama queen. She likes to meet new people and loves nothing more than to analyse them and believes being on Big Brother Naija will help her kick-start her journey in writing and cinematography.

Peace Ogor

Peace is a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Port Harcourt. Her burning passion for fashion and style inspired her to open her very own clothing store that continues to keep her busy. She describes herself as “a fun, sociable, daring team player” and believes her multicultural background makes her relatable.

Jackie Bent

Jackie B is a proud single mum and hard worker with a passion for life. She is an interior designer and a certified event and wedding planner and went to university in the UK where she had her son. The 29-year-old loves having fun and spending time with the people she loves, but also enjoys time to herself. She describes herself as an “introverted extrovert” and insists she is shy, but confident.

Tega

Tega is from Cross River State. She’s fun loving and has promised to spice up the house. She says she is happy to be in the show and has longed for this moment for a long time . She says she loves touching people’s bodies and loves dressing scantily.

Arinola Olowoporoku

Multi-faceted Arin is a 29-year-old feminist, millennial Pisces who was raised in a polygamous home in Lagos state. She is a fashion designer and an independent arts and culture curator dedicated to promoting the contemporary visual arts in Africa.

Maria Chike Agueze

Maria, a 29-year-old air hostess-turned-realtor, plans to spice things up by making all the boys fall in love  with her.

She enjoys cooking, exercising, hiking, acting, and dancing. Maria prides herself on being a loving and kind-hearted individual who is always looking for new adventures. Her travels have taken her around the world and to all continents, except Antarctica.

Roseline Omokhoa Afije

Liquorose, a 26-year-old professional dancer, loves singing, cooking, reading and writing and also takes pride in her talents as an actor and fashion entrepreneur.

The 26-year-old used to be a video vixen, but her passion for dancing led her to her current profession; leader of a girl dance group – Girl Got Bold (GGB) dance crew.

Beatrice Agba Nwaji

Fashion model and up and coming actress Beatrice, is a 28-year-old single mother of a five-year-old boy. She is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt where she studied marketing. She can sing, dance, play basketball and football very well and is also a great hairstylist.

Princess Francis

Princess Francis is a 30-year-old e-hailing service driver and business owner. She lives in Abuja and enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching movies. She takes pride in being a lovable, caring, fun person – and confesses she can be a little dramatic sometimes. “I got the drama from my mama,” she says.

Saskay

Saskay, 21, is from Adamawa State. She is very emotional and a foodie. She dislikes loud people. She says she knows how to keep people glued to their screen. She says, “I’m a hard guy on the outside but a softie on the inside”.

Anita Singh

27-year-old Nini is an economist and fashion entrepreneur born and raised in Nigeria. She has four siblings and a supportive mother that she loves very much. She is a graduate of the University of Abuja and hobbies include cleaning, cooking, travelling and photography.
