Kannywood industry has been thrown into mourning over the death of veteran actress, Hajiya Zainab Musa Booth at 61.
Zainab, who was the mother of three actors Maryam, Ramadan, and Amude Booth, died last night in Kano state.
Her daughter, Maryam confirmed the death in a post via her Instagram account on Friday, though she failed to state the cause of her death.
Zainab Booth once underwent a brain surgery, according to BBC Hausa.
The funeral prayer of the deceased will take place at her residence, opposite Premier Hospital, Court Road, Kano, this morning.
Hajiya Zainab Musa Booth leaves behind four children and two grandchildren.
