Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson has on Tuesday, August 17 finally reacted after his former girlfriend, Lydia Balogun accused him of grooming and dating naive teenagers.
It would be recalled that Balogun took to her Twitter page to call him out for targeting and dating naive teenagers.
Lydia in a series of tweets said Egbuson has become notorious for sleeping with anything that breaths.
She wrote;
Timini Egbuson you are a predator, a cradle snatcher, you’re a pervert and an all-round terrible person. Meeting this man, I had no clue about his sexual past or who he had been involved with, didn’t know anyone from his social circle. And now I know it is also intentional.
The podcaster went on to narrate how he intentionally found his way into her life and revealed that since their split, the actor has been on a mission to ruin her reputation.
Lydia claimed that Timini used to tell her that no one could ever love her again and he slutshamed her and also spoiled her name to people.
In his reaction on Tuesday, August 17 via his Twitter page, Timini confirmed that he was in a relationship with Lydia two years ago.
However, he denied sexually abusing or grooming underage ladies, saying;
I would like to make clear beyond any doubt that I do not condone having relationships or courting anyone under the age of consent. Rumors are rumors, but baseless accusations of sexual abuse or grooming of under aged women is something I don’t take lightly given the severity of the issue.
Timini declared that he is a single adult man who has dated women of different ages, all of whom were older than the legal consenting age.
Speaking about his relationship with Lydia, the actor said they were both consenting adults at the time of their relationship and their families approved of each other.
He however revealed that their relationship didn’t work out due to circumstances which he said they were both at fault for.
Timini said he has learnt from his mistakes and have since moved on, saying he would like to put that chapter of his life behind me, while wishing Lydia well in her life as well.

I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with accusations my entire career, but after discussions with my team I have decided to speak up on this issue.
Firstly, I would like to make clear beyond any doubt that I do not condone having relationships or courting anyone under the age of consent. Rumors are rumors, but baseless accusations of sexual abuse or grooming of under aged women is something I don’t take lightly given the severity of the issue.
Secondly, let’s be clear, I am a single adult man who has dated women of different ages, all of whom were older than the legal consenting age.
Lydia and I dated two years ago. We were both consenting adults at the time and our families knew and approved of each other. Our relationship didn’t work out due to circumstances we were both at fault for, which resulted in us parting ways. Our relationship was a volatile one and mistakes were made on both ends. Nevertheless, I learned from it and I have since moved on. I honestly, would like to put that chapter of my life behind me and I wish her well.
