BBNaija Season 6: Boma Becomes First Head Of HouseBig Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Boma Akpore has on Monday, August 2 become the first male head of house. 

For the challenge, the housemates played a game of dice where they were given one minute each to make moves on the board game.

To start the game, they were all expected to roll a ‘6’ on the dice to move on the mat towards the box that says: Head of House.

Boma came out victorious by being the housemate with the highest number on the board game – 26.

Raised by his single mother and grandmother, 34-year-old Boma grew up on the streets of Yaba in Lagos.

He describes his childhood as “extremely tough”, having had to pay his way through school. One of the hardest decisions he had to make was to drop out in his final year, as he couldn’t make ends meet, but his life’s high point came when he saved enough money to pay for film school, an achievement that was subsequently eclipsed by his graduation.

Shortly after Big Brother confirmed Boma’s victory, he opted for Jackie Bent as his deputy.

Jackie Bent

Jackie B is a proud single mum and hard worker with a passion for life. She is an interior designer and a certified event and wedding planner and went to university in the UK where she had her son. The 29-year-old loves having fun and spending time with the people she loves, but also enjoys time to herself. She describes herself as an “introverted extrovert” and insists she is shy, but confident.

Both Boma Akpore and Jackie B will now for the entire week live in the beautiful head of house, as reward for winning the game.

The HoH title comes with some juicy privileges which include the opportunity to select a deputy and a HoH lounge with a fully-fitted kitchen, a private bathroom, living and bedroom area.
