Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) has made clarifications on the health status of its Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Recall that Bawa stopped his goodwill speech abruptly after he felt unwell on Thursday at an event organised by National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The 41-year-old EFCC chairman told the audience that he needed to leave the stage immediately after feeling uneasy.

He was later assisted to his seat by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, and other senior officials at the event and later taken away to a hospital.
Reacting to the incident in a statement on Thursday, Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC chairman, said Bawa is “is hale and hearty”.
Uwujaren said;
This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat. He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.
