Dudu Heritage, popular music promoter and husband of Nollywood actress, Bimbo Oshin, passed away on Sunday evening, it has emerged.
According to ThePunch, the popular music promoter and prominent golfer born Ola Ibironke died yesterday but the cause of his death is unknown.
Dudu Heritage lived in the United States some years ago where he was a music promoter before relocating to Nigeria to run a private business.
He was until his death the captain of the prestigious Ibadan Golf Club.
Confirming the news to the publication, Jaiye Kuti, a close friend and colleague of Bimbo Oshin, simply said, “Yes, he has died. He died last night.”
Also, Ibadan Golf Club issued a statement Monday expressing shock about his death, saying;
We are shocked by the sudden demise of our Captain, Mr. OLA IBIRONKE. The Course is hereby closed and all club activities are suspended until further notice while the Flag will be hoisted at half mast. Our prayers are with his family and members of this great Club. Further details will be announced later.
He was last seen in a trending video at Radisson Blu hotel in Lagos, exchanging banters with Wasiu Ayinde KWAM 1 and Dele Momodu.
Dudu Heritage married popular Nollywood actress, Bimbo Oshin in 2005.
