Nigerian dancer and choreographer, Kafayat Shafau, better known as Kaffy, has on Tuesday, September 21 announced the demise of her father.
She made this known on Tuesday via her Instagram page as she shared a picture of a candle, with the caption, “#RIP DAD”.

Although, the 41-year-old didn’t reveal details of his demise, Kaffy shared a picture of a lighted candle with a dark background — a symbol normally associated with grief.

After the announcement of her father’s death, colleagues and fans of the 41-year-old dancer took to the comment section to condole her for her loss.
On May 25, 2020, the choreographer lost her mother at the age of 82.
“Mama has gone to Rest! #82,” she had posted on Instagram alongside a video where her late mother can be seen flaunting some beautiful dance steps.
