UCL: Messi Scores First Goal For PSG Against Man City
Argentina star, Lionel Messi on Tuesday netted his first goal for French side, Paris Saint-Germain as the club defeated Manchester City 2-0 in UEFA Champions League group stage game.
Gueye gave PSG the lead, shooting the ball to the top right corner of the net eight minutes into the game.
PSG maintained their lead into the second, while City struggled for an equaliser.

Pep Guardiola’s side hit the bar twice in the first half with Portugal playmaker Bernardo Silva failing to score two metres out with PSG goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma helplessly on the ground.
Messi ended his goal drought, firing in the second goal for PSG in the 74th minutes, pushing City back to defend to avoid conceding more goals.
“The important thing was to win, against an immense opponent, one of the contenders for the trophy,” Messi told broadcaster Canal+.
He added;
I had only played here (Parc des Princes) once, but little by little I’m adapting and integrating to the team.
With Tuesday’s win, PSG takes first position in Group A with 4 points in two games.
Club Bruge who defeated Leipzig 2-0 is second behind PSG by goal difference, while Manchester City is tied with 3 points in two games.
