‘I Started Watching Porn At 11, It Destroyed My Brain’ – Billie Eilish
US singer and songwriter, Billie Eilish has shockingly revealed that she started watching pornographic content when she was just 11, and that the experience “really destroyed” her brain.
The award-winning musician, who turns 20 on Saturday, made the alarming comment while reflecting on her childhood and career when she appeared on the Howard Stern Show on Monday.
On the show, she shared her thoughts on porn and its effect on her first sexual experiences.
During the show, the ‘Bad Guy’ crooner said she started watching porn at the age of 11 and later became addicted to it.
Billie expressed;
As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11. I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.
The Ocean Eyes hitmaker explained that watching porn negatively impacted her first sexual experiences.
She noted;
The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to.
The music star said she is angry for thinking porn was okay at the time. She also condemned the fact that porn has become popular among many people across the globe.
Billie added;
I’m so angry that porn is so loved, and I’m so angry at myself for thinking that it was okay. The way that vaginas look in porn is fucking crazy. No vaginas look like that. Women’s bodies don’t look like that. We don’t come like that.
Though Billie has said that she prefers to keep her love life private, she shared some thoughts on dating with Stern.
She expressed;
I’m not a serial dater … I don’t go to stuff and flirt with people. It’s really hard to meet people when people are either terrified of you or think that you’re out of their league.
Billie continued;
Last year, I thought that I’d be single for the rest of my life. I genuinely couldn’t even picture myself in a relationship of any sort. I got over that pretty fast.’l
The singer-song writer is reportedly dating actor and podcaster Matthew Tyler Vorce, though she has not publicly confirmed the relationship.
The pair were first linked last April and they were spotted together on October 26 as they attended Doja Cat’s 26th costume birthday party in Los Angeles.
A source told Page Six that two were ‘inseparable, sharing kisses.’
‘They kept close to each other the whole night and never left each other’s side,‘ the insider revealed.
Billie was previously in a relationship with rapper Brandon Quention Adams. The pair began dating in 2018 but split after less than a year together.
