Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has issued a public apology for the fracas that broke out between the wife of former Governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano and Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu during his inauguration.
Although Soludo said it was a breach of improper communication between the two parties involved, it was a fight separated by security officers.
MDB earlier reported the fight that broke out between Ebelechukwu, wife of Willie Obiano, ex-governor of the state, and Bianca Ojukwu during the swearing-in of Soludo at the government house, Anambra, on Thursday.
The fight broke out when Mrs Obiano allegedly continued to pull Ambassador Ojukwu by the shoulder and asked her why she made an about-turn by attending an All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) event after she swore never to do that.
After pulling Ojukwu by the shoulder several times, Ojukwu allegedly gave her a dirty slap and pulled her wig.
However, it was difficult to know why Mrs. Obiano was not sitting with her husband just as the wives of Soludo and his Deputy.

Reacting, Soludo, in a statement by Joe Anatune, his media aide, expressed that the fight was caused by personal issues between the women.
The statement titled ‘Soludo Apologizes for Breach of Protocol at his Inauguration’ reads;
Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo hereby apologizes to all Anambra people, friends, and guests who attended his inauguration this morning as the Anambra State governor for the breach of protocol.
The breach was caused by improper communication which itself arose from a personal issue between the two parties involved in the breach. Steps are being taken to resolve the misunderstanding and restore the parties to their previous relationship. Anambra State has over the years been known for a huge stock of social harmony, and the stock will increase substantially in the years ahead as part of the concerted effort to accelerate the state’s development.
God bless Anambra State, the Light of the Nation.
