Just In: Nicholas Felix Steps Down For Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo
Nicholas Felix, United States-based Pentecostal preacher, has stepped down for Yemi Osinbajo, becoming the first to do so for the vice president tonight.
Felix, who is the General Overseer and Founder of Miracle Center International Inc. International Headquarters, New York, announced this; while making his speech at the party’s special convention on Tuesday night.
According to him, APC “must not produce a Muslim-Muslim” ticket.
Felix then urged his delegates to join him in voting Osinbajo.
The cleric had in 2019, contested the presidency on the platform of the Peoples Coalition Party (PCP); and got 110,196 votes — the third most votes secured by a political party in the poll.
Meanwhile, at least six presidential hopefuls including Governor Kayode Fayemi, Godswill Akpabio, Dimeji Bankole have stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the APC.
It is believed that Tinubu and Osinbajo are the front runners for the presidential ticket of the the ruling party.
