Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has presented Air Transport License (ATL), which will be valid for the period of five years (June 3rd, 2022 – June 2nd, 2027), to the interim management of Nigeria Air.
An ATL certification is a document that depicts the kinds of operations a carrier will embark; either on scheduled, non-scheduled, and also cargo air services within and outside Nigeria.
The license signed by the Director-General of the NCAA, Captain Musa Nuhu on Monday, June 6, is expected to enable the new national airline to provide scheduled as well as non-scheduled services.
It is one of the licenses received by airlines before they can commence operation. Usually this is just as they await the all-important Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The AOC fully guarantees them the right to begin air services.
The Ministry of Aviation took to its official Twitter handle, @fmaviationng on Monday, announcing the presentation of the ATL to the interim board of the new airline.
It wrote:

Meanwhile, Nigeria Air Limited, had applied to the NCAA in April 2022; for a license to operate scheduled and non-scheduled passenger as well as cargo service.
