Nigerian Entertainers Thrill At Youth Vote Count Mega Concert In Lagos (Videos)
On Saturday, June 11, the Youth Vote Count Mega Concert took place at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos State.
The purpose of the Youth Vote Count Mega Concert was to enlighten the young Nigerian populace about exercising their fundamental rights as citizens of the nation; also, to inform the ‘Soro Soke‘ about the privilege they have to choose a leader who would serve the people.
The event tagged, ‘Youth Vote Count 2.0 Mega concert’, is geared toward creating awareness of the need for youths to register and vote in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The concert attracted a mammoth crowd which assembled at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
Organizers of the event include the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Yiaga Africa, and the European Union.
Aside from the enlightenment segment about the acquisition of a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), Nigerian entertainers were at the Tafawa Balewa Square to perform and give the concert-goers an awesome time.
Videos from the concert have been making the rounds across social media. Numerous Nigerian celebrities such as Waje, Kizz Daniel, Teni, Falz, 2Face Idibia, Mr Macaroni, to name a few.
Also, the Chairman of INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu; Lagos State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Olusegun Agbaje; and other members of the commission were present at the concert.

Omawumi also thrilled the crowd as she performed her popular hit track, “If You Ask Me”.
